  • Ardlethan (Between Temora and Griffith, NSW)

Low, medium and high power (H - O) are conducted here, typically three times a year between April and August. Ardlethan is approximately 3 hours from Canberra and 5 hours from Sydney. The site is about 15km north of Ardlethan at an elevation of 780' AMSL (238 m). Site GPS coordinates are -34.229519°, 146.896478°.

CRG has a CASA-approved maximum altitude of 11,500' AMSL (3,506 m). This limits any flight to below 10,720' AGL. To provide us with a safety buffer, CRG has capped flights to no higher than 10,000' AGL. General site specific details are available here.

Please contact CRG to confirm your intention to attend at least one week prior to the event. This is essential for us to plan accordingly, particularly for university team attendance.

Current conditions in the Ardlethan area are: Ardlethan Current Observations. Review the BOM forecasts for Ardlethan here.
